Xan: As you may or may not know, the Halo Array was activated once before by the Forerunners themselves.

Jeff: Because the Flood became too much of a threat.

Xan: Yes. And the Forerunners had considered and prepared for such an eventuality. The seven Rings were the sword, and the Shield Worlds were, quite literally, the shield. They were to protect any sentient life within from the pulse emitted by the Halos. A complete and thorough Micro Dyson Sphere situated within a Slipspace bubble of compressed space-time is the main component.

Jeff: Wait wait wait...a Micro Dyson Sphere is...?

Xan: A Dyson Sphere is a megastructure that completely encompasses a star and captures its full energy output. They are two astronomical units, or for your understanding, 300 kilometres in diameter. They are capable of supporting life as the inner surface is always entirely terraformed. The Sphere is contained within a Slipspace transit, as I said before, and usually there is only one entrance point, which is at the heart of the artificial planet formed around the structure. We called these the Core Room Antechambers. Upon the powering up of the Halos, the Antechamber of a Shield World is always reachable by and via specific Slipstream Translocation Devices, however the Core Room is only accessible for a short time and duration after the Halos are activated.

Jeff: So if these things were so well thought out, how come no Forerunner survived other than you?

Xan: I'll get to that part soon enough. Now, my Sentinels come in many forms. The first I created, the standard design you would find on on all Forerunner installations such as the Halos, were originally intended to be used to defeat the Flood. It became apparent though, that they were much more useful when stationed on installations and programmed to protect them. To further advance the level of protection we had against enemy forces, I created and perfected higher more powerful levels of Sentinel. All levels built the Shield Worlds together, but the final and strongest design protected them and 'assisted' the creation the most.

Jeff: Assisted?

Xan: The artificial planet that contains the entrance to its Shield World is in fact trillions of these Sentinels locked together, over which a planetary surface can form.

Jeff: Wow...so obviously you couldn't have made every Sentinel by yourself. Did you get all the Forerunners to help or something?

Xan: No, after I made the first working prototype of each Sentinel design, I designed a machine that could create them itself. When I perfected the Sentinel design, I would build this machine. Each could create a Sentinel without aid, either on my command or otherwise, depending on how I programmed it. Anyway we're trailing off topic, so now back to your question. Have you heard of Mendicant Bias?

Morphsuits = WIN

Some friends need views on this rather funny video they put together of them wearing their morphsuits around the place. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ1l9ubGqVw
Thank you very much. ^^

Deletion.

Sadly my Dad’s laptop, which I use to create comics, broke down. We were forced to fix it by performing a complete factory reset. This therefore deleted Photoshop. Until we are able to re-download it, I can no longer create comics. :( *sigh* Things never go right.

/facepalm

Epic fail.
If you bothered to stick around waiting for me to close off this storyline, then thank you…and sorry. I have mentioned SO many times now that I am very unreliable, and though you have seen this for yourself I thought I’d mention it again. I promised that it would be all over and done with soon. Now a few months later…there’s still nothing but this post. I’m sure you already know my educational circumstances so I wont go into that again. All I can say is that I apologize for my empty promises…but I will now make one that is set in stone: I WILL FINISH THIS COMIC!
See. No set date…but it WILL get done.
I promise.

Halo 3 ODST is KIA

If any of my fans still exist [like TuckerfromRvB (formerly Qwerty)] then you’ll be happy to hear that I will be pumping out as many comics as I can today (well…at least 2) leading up to the really final finale of Rebellion. Sadly the ODST comics are KIA because really, I have too much to focus on. As always, I’m very sorry for the inconvenience but I hope you understand that the mini series I promised was dead long before it started. My lack of commitment to the actual Rebellion made sure of that. But on a lighter note again, I WILL be finishing it up soon enough. The first strip you can expect to see will be carrying on from where we left off with David and Tomik. Hang in there soldiers.

AFK

Hey guys, sorry for the delay…I haven’t been keeping on top of comics but I hope you’ll forgive me. There will be a couple more rolling out soon to finish a few things off and then I’m going to stop for a while. I promised a lot with this, like that I’d keep this going but I can’t keep that promise. What I do know is that I’m gonna try my hardest to bring it back one day, along with the ODST one, and send this series out with the biggest bang I can make from Halo 3 and Photoshop. xD I have a lot on my mind to do with school and anything else so this isn’t the best time to be making comics. Sorry for the inconvenience…
