A Blackhammer member known as Jeff or Blackhammer-157 was appointed by his creators to be the Blackhammer troop to sort out anyone with ‘ideas’ of rebelling. Working at that same position for 3 years, Jeff takes in all the information classed as ‘lies’ from the few that tried to rebel, and with all this in his mind, he decides that they were right: the Blackhammer project was an in-humane way of creating super soldiers, and that it should be stopped. So he rebelled. Jeff-157, the first to technically be called a Viper troop, escaped in an Albatross Heavy Dropship with his only ally and friend, David-036. They crash landed in a sandy wasteland north of base, David was missing. This is where the story starts for our ‘hero’…
Rebellion is the first Reclaimer ’spin-off’, but there will be subtle changes as I don’t know everything that goes through the mind of Jim (the creator of Reclaimer). Some may have already picked up on these, some will as both stories progress and differences become more obvious. It would have been better if I had started Rebellion after Reclaimer had finished, but unfortunately that isn’t the case. I will try to keep the world of Rebellion as similar to the world of Reclaimer as I possibly can. Hopefully you can forgive me.

Todash Technology: In Rebellion, Todash Technology was still supposedly invented by the Forerunners, but it was discovered late in the Blackhamer Project and is installed in newer AI units (So far, the only UNSC AI we know that can use Todash Tech is Tomik). The power armour created by Xan and Lacer has integrated Todash Tech. Instead of a power source, Todash jumps are activated using the energy created by moving at a high velocity. Such a high velocity can be created by driving very fast, or falling a long distance.
